Spirituality

Spirituality is an emerging topic in public discourse. For former, three times elected, Labor British Prime Minister Tony Blair, leaving religion out of debates is 'a recipe for disaster'.  Globally, faith is on the increase, he insists. Indigenous Australians have always been keen to share their spirituality, symbolised so poignantly in dance and art. As Marist Brothers, we are speaking more today about the spirituality that connects us in community, the type of personal and communal prayer in which we engage, the reading and conversations that nourish that spirituality. Perhaps this explains Thomas Aquinas' belief that faith is a gift of grace that is infused into human reason.
