Charism and Lay Marists

On Thursday, 17th June 2010, I am speaking at a Dinner with Lay Marists.  These people are committed to helping others, especially poor children and young people. The PowerPoint presentation I will be using can be accessed here.  Traditionally, charisma is one word many people use to describe the inspiration that drives good people like these to make our world a better place.  I enjoy connecting with them because they encourage me to take up what gives me life.  Br Emili Turu, during his recent visit to Australia, spoke about 'giving life' being the best indicator of the authenticity of what we ought take on.
