God is missing but not missed

Our Annual Marist Retreat commenced in Adelaide today with Retreat preacher, Fr Laurie McNamara suggesting 'God is missing but not missed' in today's society.  A Vincentian priest and moral theologian, Fr McNamara is taking as his theme for the retreat: 'Growing in Age and Wisdom'.  In his presentation today, Laurie highlighted the centrality of faith for a Christian and for a person who has taken religious vows. This reality of a life of faith invites us to think beyond the immediate (which is uncommon today) and to realise that Jesus is alive through His Spirit. We only have to listen.
