Singapore - City of Energetic People

Orchard RoadA thirteen hour flight from London brought me to a warm Singapore on Friday, 14th October, 2009. This island state, with its 5 million people, warmly welcomes visitors, especially to its shopping paradise along its tree lined and world famous Orchard Road. One of three city-states in the world, the other two being Monaco and the Vatican City, Singapore is, per capita, the fifth wealthiest country in the world.
